Linky Party! Share Your Teaching & Parenting Goals

Let’s Hook Up With a Linky Party!

It’s a party – a linky party!

Linky Party

Making goals (and following through with them) does not have to be boring and lonely! Instead, let’s share posts about what you hope to achieve either as a parent or educator in 2017. You can then use posts from other bloggers to help you achieve your goals (or perhaps try something new)! A linky party is a fabulous way to get to know about other blogs and their awesome bloggers. Whether you have a long or short term goal, it always helps to have as many resources as possible. Also, knowing that someone else is working towards the same goal will motivate you to get moving yourself!

My Goal for 2017

I’ll start with my own personal goal which will hopefully motivate you to share yours! This year I am really hoping to read more and spend less time watching t.v., playing on my computer (I may possibly be addicted to social media), and generally wasting time. Reading is one of my favorite things, and I have really neglected it since becoming a mom (I’m sure I don’t have to tell you how little time there is between teaching and parenting). However, my kids are older now (12 and 15) and are more self-sufficient.

Therefore, I am going to sneak off to my bedroom early each night and read (hopefully for pleasure, not work)! In order to help jump start my goal, I researched lots of books from 2016 and made a list of the ones that were the “best” (i.e., people loved them, they won big words, etc.). If you’d like to check out the list for yourself, you can find it by clicking here.

Let’s share the love and help each other achieve our goals and promote our blogs! Please share this post on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or any other social media forum that you like. The more it’s shared, the more people who can benefit from this linky party.

  1. Reading more books that I really want to read is one of my goals for this year, too. Good luck!!
