Teacher Appreciation Week Ideas

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! So, all you wonderful teachers, this post is actually directed at all of the wonderful parents who lend you their wonderful children each day! If you have your own kids and want to honor their teachers during Teacher Appreciation week, please hang around and check out these great ideas!

What teacher doesn’t cherish a homemade gift from a student? Here are some great ideas to share with your children (and to help the little ones with if needed):

If you would like to get your favorite teacher something store bought to go along with your homemade gift, I am thinking he or she probably wouldn’t mind. 🙂 Here are some great ideas (please be sure to check shipping times when ordering; if you are concerned that it won’t arrive this week consider upgrading to expedited shipping or choose a downloadable gift certificate).

Tiny Prints has a bunch of great cards for teachers such as the one seen at left. You can even add a gift certificate that is printed directly on the card for such great stores as Amazon.com, Target and more! Best of all, Tiny Prints is currently having a site wide sale – 15% off everything, no code needed!

BN Gifts Cards: The perfect gift for your favorite teacher! You can never go wrong with a Barnes & Noble gift card which is sure to be appreciated by any teacher!

Personal Creations has a huge selection of great teacher gifts, from mugs to stationery and everything in between. I personally love these glass blocks which add something special to any educator’s desk.

Give the gift of moviesGive your favorite teacher a break with the gift of entertainment. Good for any movie available for ticketing on Fandango.com, no expiration.

However you choose to thank your teacher, keep in mind that there doesn’t need to be a “Teacher Appreciation Week” to honor educators and all they do for our children; thank teachers often and show them how much they are appreciated each and every day!
